Im fruiting my first succesful minu grow.. its a tray thats lik 7 inches by 6 inches by 3 inches deep.. ite was 3 small cakes spawned to straight coir cased with coir/verm.. niw im getting tons of pis but the shrooms are growingup to be 2-4 inches tall with .5 to 1.5 inch caps is that normal for them to be small like that? i mean its seems that this tray will end up being good for only a few doses.. i have harvested like 5 and there are a ton of pins still popping up...

How deep is the sub? Ideally, you want a ~4-5 inch substrate depth. My guess, barring a thin sub depth, is genetics. Check this out... Chances are you just got the thicker pin-set over the larger mushrooms. When you do finally pull up a big fatty shroom that you like, clone it and go from there.

Just because a mushroom is large and fat does not mean it is that way genetically. A lot of the times, it's just because it's a later flush, and it's taken on a lot of water.
cloning is best done via pins anyhow, from a cluster, or by cloning rhizomorphic mycelium.
have a nice day.

Or, the size of the mushroom might be because all the mushrooms from those jars were always large, and I cloned for size because I suck.

Yes. But, if you are on your first grow and don't want to sector and fruit a bunch of plates, you can just take a full fruit and clone what you like on it.. be that first pin, clustering, or size.

Size is just moisture based. The reason your mushrooms grew small is water shortage.

LC clones are generally unsuccessful. It's done best with slurried core sample for myself.
otherwise, clones work best ALL the time with g2g from agar wedges. :P

annother question about this...
I ate 1 small mushroom and it weighed likr 2 tenths of a gram dry.. i got threshold effects (no color just a little clamyness and and that weird feeling) with that small a dose having effects, would it be safe to assume that the mushrooms will be potent?

That's not true. Agar did 1/2 inch substrates and had a 144g Equador.

trust me no matter what she says size matters.

Who knows? Eat two or three grams and then see how potent they are.

I saw a UK sex program that said penis pumps get the best results of any enlargement thing. Just mentioning cause we're on the topic. But don't put your PE's in them it don't work that way man.

Those work better. You wear them for a year every day. It stretches your penis 2-3 inches longer. It cost $234 though. Be great to show your woman.
