Hey, anybody check out "Eric's Guide to Cultivating Psilocybe Azurescens/Cyanescens" at sporelab.com? Is this possible? I was under the assumption azures will only fruit by the hand of Mother Nature. Anybody know/hear of Azures fruiting indoors?

there is a good post in the archives .. but for the life of me i cant find it again .. i was going to give it a go but decided it was too much agg and spawned outdoors .. 1 thing you need to keep in mind is that azures are not very succeptible to contams if good colonization is present .. so do not pasteurise or sterilize your sub .. soaking is sufficent .. also use as much stuff from outside as possible to cultivate them .. hell , catch rain water to water them if u want lol ... keep the temps uniform to theier specifications and you should be able to pull it off ... a mini fridge would be a great incubator/fruiting chamber .. cheers

Royal' will you Pm me? I'd like to talk about this without clouding up the forum. Or not. Sporeworks has a good exotics grab bag going on, all I'm interested in is the azures, but it'd be nice to have other exotics on hand. I've been planning for quite a while now on going outdoors with azures, I have a spin off of PF tek for wood lovers, I would look to spawn a wood chip bed. Is that the normal route people take?

It's extremely rare to get azures to fruit indoors and quite frankly, not worth the effort. I'd still suggest inoculating woodchips in an outdoor bed. RR

Alder if you're in the PNW. Otherwise, use whatever local hardwood is readily available. RR
