Yes. It will flush as long as there is moisture and nutrients left.

For best results, dunk and roll between flushes.

Dunk and roll between flushes? What's the science behind that? Why does it work better? Just curious as I'm new to all this.
thanks

dunking replenishes water and rolling creates a little casing if you will for the cake. It helps to hold water and allow for good pin formation.

I also have a question just to clarify this for myself. Dunking refers to dunking the cakes in water, then rolling it in vermiculite, right?
After dunking and rolling, can they be put into the terrarium immediately, or do they require a little bit of incubation?

After you dunk and roll they're ready for the terrarium. Incubating them would increase chance of contamination and also they would just totally colonize the verm layer which is not the intended purpose.

Dunk and Roll after every flush to rehydrate them. Failing to do so your cake will dry out and not form any pins or if mushrooms small tiny ones. Make sure to Dunk for a 24 hours after each flush even if it has pins. Just make sure you provide Adequate FAE for the water to evaporate off or you'll end up aborting the mushroom pin.
Dunk in a pot of water make sure the cakes are fully submerged. A plate will do great. Put in the refrigerator overnight. The reason we put them in the fridge is to keep contamination/bacteria at bay as it loves moisture and room temperature water that is anywhere from 60-80F. Don't get this confused with cold shocking ok. Cold shocking is done in a period of 2-3 weeks and only benefits with Cold weathered Edibles like shiitake. And some others I can't remember. Hot tropical poo loving mushrooms benefit none, anyways. After the dunk rinse your mushrooms off under the faucets and roll it in dry vermiculite. Follow this tek.

someone advised no roll on the subsequent flush to me. Am I to understand that they were incorrect?

so if I did 2 cakes on this bad advice say yesterday should I remove immediately and roll or just leave em? They aren't showing any growth yet.

Did you wait a week before you dunked them so the mycelium has time to consolidate as a whole? Or simply once fully colonized throw them in the chamber?

I waited an extra week then threw em in. Would this make a difference by the second flush? I am talkin second flush here if there is any confusion.

Patience. Make sure you keep them moist and provide adequate FAE!
