Always Tired - Nicotine Withdrawls?
    #8056037 - 02/22/08 11:22 AM (15 years, 11 months ago)

I've made two major changes in my life in the past week, and I'm trying to figure out if either have anything to do with my fatigue.

Change 1: Quit smoking a week ago. I didn't smoke much, just like 3-5 a day. It wasn't even very hard to quit considering I didn't smoke that much.

Change 2: I shifted my sleeping schedule. I used to go to sleep around 4am and wake up around 2pm. About a week ago I started waking up at 5am and going to sleep around 10pm.

Here's the problem:

Around midday I get really tired. Like, so tired that I need to lay down for a nap or else I just feel crappy. I've been trying to make the naps short, but they've been lasting like 5 or 6 hours every time. This results in me sleeping through half the day and it sucks!

Any ideas?

i think i read somewhere that it takes a good two weeks for your body to become 100% accustomed to a sleeping pattern.

stop taking naps and keep with your current schedule.

haha, I'm an insomniac, feeling shitty and tired comes naturally to me though.
