ARE THESE MAGIC MUSHROOMS
They were found in arkansas by some woods. They were on the grassy line right outside the woods. Nice grass and soil. Found february 21st 08
Took a spore print it looked purpleish or rusty more purple brown though

Are you sure the sporeprint was purplish brown? Because they look more like mycena, which would have a white print. Either way they're not magic.

OR EVEN A FOURTH. NOT ALL MUSHROOMS ARE POISONOUS OR "MAGIC", SOME ARE EDIBLE, AND SOME ARE JUST TOO GROSS OR TOUGH TO EAT, THOUGH THEY ARE HARMLESS.

THEY ARE NOT MAGIC.

I would guess something in the genus Entoloma. So the print should come out pinkish (which could easily be confused for purplish by a beginner).

I am going to guess Nolanea.

Its certainly in the Entolomataceae.
