Quick little stealth idea

I just thought the other day, "whats keeping me from constructing my own 'martha' outta thick plastic and what ever other goodies I'd need to pick up." Dollar for dollar you'd probably be better off just getting a martha.
The stealth idea... get a couple of those cardbord small (like 3'x2'x2') dresser dealies. Put them together gut out the inside of them saving the front of the drawers and construct small green houses to fit each one of 'em.
I'm sure you'd have problems with the humidity being too much for the dresser, but I just like the direction my brain took me on this one.
You could hook up your ultrasonic and cool mist up to all 3 if you got creative with it.
This seems as though it'd have a lot of problems, and I haven't even begun to brainstorm on the idea, but it could be a good solution for people in certain situations. You live in an apartment and have always wanted to do a martha but have had to resort (resort-not knockin 'em) to mono tubs for fear of prying eyes (maintenance, fire inspection, etc.)
Watchya think?

Or you could hollow the dresser out take the frount of the drawers glue and fashon them into a hinged door, line it up to be moisture proof and drip tray for easy removal of collected condensation, bulid/buy shelving, hook your ultrasonic and what not, and go from there.

I made one out of PVC and plastic sheeting from Home Depot.
I ended up spending about rhe same amount I would have for a real martha, except I didn't have a zipper door so humidity was a small issue.
I bet you could do it cheaper and better than I did if you plan it out a bit...
Good luck!

I like the hinged door idea. I'm just spinning my wheels on how to make this thing waterproof.
Good to see someone else has constructed their own.
I'm also going to have to get creative on hiding all the attatchments. Shouldn't be a problem with the whole "empty box" next to you set up kinda thing.
Maybe i'll just do a martha but this could be a fun little project.
