Hey so I was hurt in an auto accident last night, am sore as fuck right now, and think I am going to go see a doctor. Only thing is I dont have any health insurance, and although the other person was at fault and is insured, im not sure what their car insurance is going to do about the situation.
Should I wait until tommorow or just go into the ER (its 10:50 PST here)? my fucking back hurts.
BTW im in california, does anyone know the law regarding accidents in california? This guy has mercury insurance (im 21st century with minimal coverage).... Anyone know what kind of insurance coverage plans they offer, or are required to offer by california law? I dont want to sue these guys for personal damages, but I want my bill to be taken care of.

I don't know.
If we lived in a civilized fucking nation like every other western country then maybe you would be okay.
I don't really have any advice, just hope it works out for you. Go on webmd. If it's just soreness take some ibuprofen. Not like you need me to tell you that but it's the best I got for now

Plus you need to establish your medical situation ASAP in the event that you have long term repercussions and have to sue the bastards!

i would wait it out and try to contact your friends insurance agent since you were in the crash. if you are seriously hurt, they need to pay for it.
if you arent seriously hurt, you should hint to them that you have neck/back pain/headaches or sumtin. they will cut you a check for like 2k, i had a friend that got 2k from a deal like that.
they will make you sign something that says they will not pay for injuries, they would rather shut you up and pay you off. but if you arent hurt its free money. fuck em.

I would not risk that until I knew there was no long term issue. 2 Gs isnt shit, especially with chronic back/neck issues.

As suggested, any and all medical concerns should be immediately addressed. In California, minimum liability insurance provides protection for a maximum $15,000 of coverage for each individual person injured in an accident, and a maximum $30,000 of total coverage for all injured persons in one accident.
PS. Get yourself insured. If you want to live a sucessful life, you have to stay alive! Medical insurance should be a number one priority for everyone.
If you don't have your health, you have nothing!
