Help with my Salvia

Yo, my salvia plant is not doing all too bad. But the thing that I'm woried about is the leaves, they are drooping and don't look all too healthy.

The brown edges on the leaves were there from the start and I have managed to almost completely get rid of it in all the new growth. It's just the droopy, sad looking leaves that im worried about. Thanks

Mine looked like that for awhile... and then eventually died. I was overwatering.

Ok, overwatering... I'll keep that in mind. Any other ideas as to what may be happening.

it's about 3 or 4 weeks old. I don't really have any access to a humidity tent at all. but if i put a plastic bag over it and continued to mist it would that work?

Gr33nday43 said: I don't agree with that...In my opinion wait it out. No ferts, don't water too much, just stick with that until you have an abundance of healthy leaves. Harvest the leaves just before they fall off. Your plant doesn't need high humidity, mine thrives in a house with around 20%. There could be other ways to do it, but this has worked for me many times. Also, since the plant is only that old it is still adapting to it's enviroment. Salvia are hardy plants, just wait it out. Leaves will form from the nodes. Good luck!
why the fuck do you post when you're not considering the actual problem?! the man is in australia, salvia is from the forest!that should make you notice the problem alone...humidity.
if you still don't think so, then: this is a new plant, it is adapting and low humidity will make it loose leaves. then again he should increase it. just look at the picture, there's some pretty arid place behind the plant.

you could get a mister that screws onto the end of a hose, position it over the plant on a timer. create walls for it to absorb and hold moisture as well as act as a wind break there. looks like any humidity gets distributed pretty fast. put it inside of a bamboo patch with a mister on it.

it's not covering a problem, there is something called stress. and it is mainly caused by SUDDEN CHANGES IN ENVIROMENT. enough stress will kill a plant, as many people know.
it's a cutting man, really. it's something like someone cut your legs off and then when they start to grow again, someone put you to walk a desert.too much stress in too little time.
i don't think anyone here but you disagree with me in the point that the first thing you should do with a new plant is to keep the stress to a minimum while waiting for the plant to adapt.

i agree with greenday
i had a plant i killed by overwatering and overfertilizing, only water it twice a week at the most, and use organic fertilizers if u cant get organic, use the chemical ones at 1/3 strength, but dont use any ferts till its looking healthier
the other thing, get a spraybottle and spray it often, it helps the plant adapt, and its a mosture loving plant so it thrives with spraying

whoaaaaa, chill brovas. But thanks for the help. I have brought her inside and I do have a mister which i use about 3 times every day. Also I have had a plastic bag over her for the past two days and nothing has happened much other than a slight increace in growth and a MASSIVE increace in little bugs that are now swarming around my study desk... I have a feeling they are aphids but I'm not sure on that one. Any ideas on how to dispell these little bitches?? The fert i use is this stuff:
How often should I be fertalizing? once every 3 weeks? Oh and finally I can't really do the whole complicated settup coz im in a boarding house and if i were to start setting up all that humidity shit i'll bet the tutours will start getting suspisious. Thanks again.

FUCK!!! They are little black things about 2 mm long with wings flying around... They seem to be living near all the nodes and the places of new leaf growth and when i spray they all fuck off and drop to the ground... Any ideas as to what I can use to get rid of them... and will she survive till the end of the week coz i won't be able to to anything till the weekend...
