Hey, I am extremely knew to shrooms and such and trying to learn/read everything I can. I love exploring and nature walking. I thought what the heck the other day after a good rain and walked to my local park. I live in Tampa, Florida which is on the Gulf Coast. I found these next a swampy, lake area in the brush in the shade.
This is where I found them.
This is what they look like. As you can see they are kindof pinkish brown.
As you can see in this they sort of are "wavy"
I am not sure if they bruise and one of them had this white sticky stuff all over it. If you guys really need more info I can find some free time to go back and get more pictures. Thanks a bunch.

I think they're Lactarius hepaticus.

Also looks a bit like a Russula.

Hi TheOneAndOnlyX, thanks for sharing the photographs.
You did not follow our Mushroom Hunting Forum Rules which requires a somewhat detailed description for Identification Requests.
My first thought was Lactarius. Did the gills or stipes ooze a milky latex at all when damaged? What color was the spore print?
Landsnorkler could be right, but I am entirely too busy right now to look into this with a book or online guides. 'Will be too busy to even log on here for a couple more weeks (school).
Thanks again for sharing, try to show us more in the future.

Sorry. Next time I find something I'll try to write some characteristics down. How could I damage the mushroom without destroying it? Would a simple squeeze do it?
