long-time lurker, first-time poster! this is a great place. you are all very wonderful
i just started my first grow (wbs in pint jars) and i'm concerned about the growth in the jars. i just inoculated last week (2/14) but i'm seeing serious growth already. it looks pretty damn white but i'm not sure it's white enough. it's also very thin, like mold. can anyone advise me on whether this is looking sexy or cobwebby? thanks in advance!

yeah, i thought it was fast too. 2mls of B+ syringe from Ralphsters incubated at 72-76F. I went away for the weekend and came back to 20% colonization after about 5 days. Shook it then and that's what I've got now (7 days after inoculation). So it looks OK?
sorry about the photos. click the thumbnails for larger versions. thanks for the tip about the onsite photo uploader.

looks like healthy mycelium, maybe u just have lots of spores and it just went crazy? i geuss birth it and drop a bit of hydrogen peroxide on it, and if it fizzle like cobweb does when ive done it, then u might be able to figure what it is

its mycelium man. dont worry about it. if you do everything right that is how they are supposed to look after a week and a good shake. i belive those are qrt jars not pt. jars by the way.

#1 and #3 look like mycelium...the 2nd one looks like it's colonizing slower and looks like trich before it turns green...wait it out.

I have the same pint jars. I also have quart jars that look the same but bigger. They just aren't wide mouth pint jars. I am currently using them in a mini bulk sub thingy.
