Is mescaline as depersonalizing/boundary dissolving as LSD?

So I have used mescaline a couple of times but they were so long ago I couldn't really compare them to my more recent LSD experiences.
What I enjoy most about acid is how it sort of makes me feel outside of myself and merged with things around me. It takes away boundaries so I feel like I'm just floating in the air or that mind has merged with whatever I am looking at. It seems like I can hear the whole universe at once breathing and I am a part of it.
The downside is that it can be somewhat difficult to manage at times, and a little confusing or disorienting. Of course, not nearly to the degree of mushrooms but at higher doses things can move pretty fast on acid.
What I remember about Peruvian Torch (mescaline) and what others have said is that it is a very smooth trip, you can act relatively "sober" and that it has a warm/fearless trance like feeling similar to MDMA. You don't even notice how high you get with the stuff until you are peaking hard and then you almost feel like you don't care if you leave this universe.
I've used up most of my acid and I'm eyeing my Peruvian Torch. From experience can anybody tell me if mescaline can give me a similar "expansive" experience as I've had with LSD or is it more focused in the linear, discrete human world like 2c-b which seems to be similar?
I'll find out soon enough but I'm curious.

I hate to oversimplify, but I'll give it a shot:
Mescaline brings you to another world, or changes you in a way that you see it differently.
LSD shows you that there is no world, or shows you that there is no YOU to separate from the world.
Maybe that's just my experience as a Zen lunatic who's always gotten fucking strong LSD

i'd say acid is the most boundary dissolving, to me, but then again, i don't know, i could be wrong, it all depends on your experience, i think shrooms can be boundary dissolving as acid, and mescaline can really blow you away. it just depends on the trip you have, naw mean?
i'd hate to not leave a good description on here, it's just that i couldn't describe it to you, take it and find out.
