Selfish indeed it is.
A billion can't even buy a hobby military these days.
A good bunker and some AAA will be nine figures for sure... airstrip, hangars, radar and some used F-14s will just about tap you out. You'll probably have to fly them yourself.

Build a nice house, buy a couple cars, start a company, then put the rest in the bank and live off the interest. Fuck everybody else.

I'd probably blow it all in a weekend and show up to work on Monday...

It probably would be. At least I'd get a good trip or two out of the deal.

I don't think you fully appreciate the value of money.

Why do you say that?

It looks like he would have said that about my post. I truly don't appreciate the value of money. I consider it a useful, but imaginary concept of punishment and reward. Ultimately I just want a place to stay dry at night and some good food to eat and I am good. Having money is nice, but I can be happy without it.

I'd probably keep it and use it solely for myself. Selfish? Yes, but no more so than giving it away to make yourself feel good.
