Tonight's Austin debate: What's at stake

WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton, reeling from 10 consecutive defeats and slipping further behind Barack Obama in the delegate count, needs to do something to reverse the front-runner's momentum. Her campaign strategists think they have just the solution: tonight's debate in Austin.
With less than two weeks before pivotal primaries in Texas and Ohio, Clinton campaign officials are counting on landing a memorable zinger or forcing an Obama gaffe that could change the dynamic of the presidential race.

Look for her to be foaming at the mouth. You know how every movie about robots must end with the robot turning violent and trying to kill actual warm blooded humans? Her candidacy will have an eerily familiar final month.
Will we see dignified (condescending) Obama, like we did in New Hampshire?
Or the strong (weak) Obama, like we did in South Carolina?
I'll be tuned in.

it does not look good for her. (unless the Latino/Hispanic come out in large numbers for her)
the black vote will definitely show up and vote for Obama, along with many anti-Clinton votes including me.

she gave maybe one or two direct answers the whole time, and got called out on her negative, desperate rhetoric as of late.
obama is well spoken, likeable, and genuine. i don't think i'm the only one who sees right through clinton.
she get stomped.
and her statement about "politics for me is about changing people's lives"... i will pass on that, thank you, senator.

"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney told talk show host Charlie Rose.
"I'll do whatever he says to do," actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."

The last 8 years have made people super attentive to a candidate that is actually a decent human being.
Can you blame 'em for falling all over themselves trying to get in his pants?

Based upon your comment, how do you explain Obama, Billary, and McCain being the only four viable choices?

Well...
I think the two concepts are far enough apart that one doesn't directly rely upon the other.
Being 'super attentive' to a candidate doesn't mean...
the candidate can organize and run a successful campaign.
or that
people will vote for him / her or donate if they've internalized that he / she can't really win.
That's just my armchair opinion. I'm sure there's more to it.
Not to step on anybody's toes. perhaps I should've originally said:
The last 8 years have made people *more* attentive to a *viable* candidate that seems like a decent human being.
