two weeks ago i nocced up 11 pf jars with a syringe of PE from sporeworks and things look good to me. i just wanted to hear what yall think as far as progress goes. this is my first grow so im not too sure on the time line of colonization. what percentage would you say these are at? if i had to guess i would say around 50% or 60%

until yesterday i had them in a TiT that was reading right at 80 degrees. after reading so much on this site about incubation not being necessary (will colonize fine at room temp, heat increases risk of contams..etc..) i decided to unplug the incubator. the jars are still in there, its just no longer heated. was this a good move? should i leave them in the incubator turned off, turn it back on, or take them out?
thanks for all your help!!

What is your room temp? At first when I was reading here I was under the impression that 81 ambient was a good temp, making it around 86 inside the jars. Then it was brought to my attention that it may be too high and not really helping anything. 77F seems to be what people are saying to go with, for the ambient temp.
It is winter here and my house is heated to 68F, so I decided to still use my aquarium heater and inside my tub right now it is 77.5F.

i just took a look at the jars for the first time since unplugging the heater. its hard to tell if growth has sped up or not. i did notice alot more condensation on the inside of the jars though. is this ok and normal?

room temp stays right around 70, but feb. in NC can be a bit confusing sometimes with the A/C and heat on in the same day. im sure the temp fluctuates quite a bit within a few degres higher and lower than 70. i was thinking of turning the heater back on at a lower temp (to keep it around 75 76ish) just to keep the temp stable?

why do so many people always ask if condensation inside the jars is a problem? It's a question that is asked probably ATLEAST once a day with pictures, there really is no need for anymore of the same simple questions

Condensation will always form when there's a temperature differential. It forms on the warm side of the glass, and isn't a problem.
I'm trying to figure out what cops and static have to do with your thread? RR

I believe Copacetic is the word you're looking for. RR
