Bowie police recovered marijuana and paraphernalia from young adults twice in the past two weeks, leading to four arrests.
Richard Auther Anderson, 18, was arrested at approximately 10:30 a.m. Feb. 12 at his home in the 4100 block of Windswept Court and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers discovered a pipe and 38 grams of marijuana after receiving consent to search the property by the owner. According to police reports, charges are pending against a second individual at the residence.
Three individuals were arrested during an evening traffic stop Feb. 8, after several small quantities of marijuana were recovered from the car. During the stop at the intersection of Elder Oaks Boulevard and Excalibur Road, Christian Pierce, 19, of Bowie bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Police captured him a short time later and discovered marijuana in his possession. Two females left in the car, Faulkner Frost, 19, and Vanessa Ware, 21, also were taken into custody, police said. As of Monday, court records show only Ware had been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

"Sir can you please open the door?" "Am I under arrest?" "Why would you ask that?" "Do you have a warrant?" "Sir, I would like to talk with you." "I'm sorry officer. Have a safe night."
Disaster averted. No feelings hurt. WHAT THE FUCK IS SO HARD TO GET ABOUT THIS???? Jesus, Ive declined searches of my person, my vehicle, and my home. JUST FUCKIN DO IT! Don't think about it, just say NO to warrant-less searches.
Guess he's learning that the hard way...
(sorry choir, just practicing)

That would be good if he was the owner. plus if cops come to the door they will find a reason to come in. ie"we smelled marijuana", you will get arrested and have to fight it out in court. Yes it would be nice just to say "no" to a search, but have you ever tried to prevent a cop not to do his job?

Yeah. It's a nice idea, but police (especially here in the United Tzarate of Gordon Broon) don't take no for an answer. That immediatly becomes "resisting arrest."
All they have to do is say "You're under arrest" (don't even have to state the charges) and if you ask why or refuse a search, that's resisting arrest.
