I'm in Oregon... I will try snapping some pics in an hour or so.
Sky's look semi clear surprisingly... it was pretty cloudy all day.

This fucking sucks... I was gonna smoke some salvia when it is totally eclipsed, but it's so fucking cloudy here. There's a brief break in the clouds every 20 minutes or so.

Beautiful... me and a dude I kind of know shared a small bowl of plain leaf salvia. The conversation went as follows...
friend - "Man, I'm not feeling much..." me - "Yeah, it's not as potent as the stuff you smoked before, because this is-"
I couldn't get the words out... "plain leaf", it was impossible to say. My mind started looping and I kept saying the same thing...
me - "Yeah, it's not as potent as the stuff you smoked before, because this is... Yeah, it's not as potent as the stuff you smoked before, because this is... Yeah, it's not as potent as the stuff you smoked before, because this is..."
My friend was just laughing, and I was too, because I couldn't control what I was saying. After the effects wore off, we walked down the street, looking at the now totally red moon emerging from the clouds. I pondered the amazing, awe-inspiring size of it, just floating there, right above me.
Needless to say, I had a great night... and it's not over yet. I'm gonna smoke a few joints and chill...
Oh yeah, I'll post pictures tomorrow...

in IL, it was maroon.
Very trippy, like as if someone cut a hole in the sky and there was a world of color behind it or something.
I guess ya, it just looked like some weird hole or eye in the sky.
Pretty surreal if you ask me.

The sky suddenly cleared up right before it here in Vancouver, it was chrystal clear throughout, and while I didnt get a chance to get salvia (I even planned to go downtown and get some for this, but didn't have time after work) I did manage to meet up with some friends and smoke a couple joints and watch it. Good vibes for our acid/mesc/salvia trip on friday, very good vibes.
Oh, it was brownish red here

I saw it here last night in new york. It was a bit cloudy but only a little. The moon shined through the clouds and my friends and I could see it pretty well. My favorite part was when it turned red during the recession of the eclipse.
