Back in December Losfreddy had a post up about some wild mycelium he collected from a pasture, where known Cube's grow... He fruited the strain out and sent out prints to anyone who wanted them, I was one of those people. I recieved the print in mid to late December, not exactally sure when, but I started the spores out on MEA, they only took a week to colonize the petrie entirely, so a few transfers later and i have several, single sector isolates. Transfered to WBS (soaked 36 hrs, no boil) 18 days later 24 qt jars of mycelium fully colonized (4 seperate isolates) so i poured out a few casings and distributed a few jars of colonized grain about, here i am 2 weeks later and i have pins, they start out with the brightest of YELLOW caps i have ever seen, should have got a pic but i didnt, will catch one of the next pins to appear. also i just made a 6qt casing yesterday, here are some pics, look at how rizomorphic these are after only one day, it came through the casing everywhere

sorry this one is a bit blurry
dont worry once they fruit out i will print and distribute... No name other than "Wild Texas" to my knowledge
So all the reports from others say small mushrooms... caps about 1 inch max... I have the same, but i have more than one casing going and i have two very different looking mushrooms from the same spawn... take a look.

sorry my camera died before i could get a pic of the other casing... but prints are being made and i will send them out to a few people here in the next few days... hope you like card!

That sounds exciting, I'd kinda like to try something like that out, a relatively unknown strain. But I'm pretty inexperienced, I'm on my first grow.

Pretty cool, I could use a print if you get enough.

I'd also be interested in a print if you're taking requests ;-) I hope to be able to try this type of procedure at some point. I'm still a noob though with cloning.
