Oh yeah, and get some hard candy or the like. It does help with the oral cravings.

Most days I smoked about 8-10 but I used to smoke around 20 a day before I dropped it last time. Started up again about six months ago. Today I decided to drop it again, no problem.
I just don't see the big deal and I think its probably fear mongering from propaganda that makes people think its so 'hard' to quit anything in the first place.

That is a long time. I smoked for about 12 years on and off but not consistently at all and breaks of years in between.

The way I see it if you decided not to smoke then you're already free dude. Enjoy the freedom.

the nicotine wihdrawals are not fun though... Its hard to stay without smoking. I heard using the patch is stupid in a way because you are paying more for your addiction to nicotine,,ytou might as well cut down slowly then quit.

Smoking causes hair loss. If you still have your hair, quit smoking before it falls out or turns grey. Your complexion will improve as well. Relapse is all part of recovery. If you do smoke again, you will feel guilty afterwards. Write down your negative feelings about smoking after the cigarette and then read them the next time you crave one. Good luck.

I wish i could quit again...but I have never heard that smoking causes hair loss, but wrinkled skin, i have heard of that. I quit smoking for 7 months, but i started back up having the occasional swisher sweet when I got drunk..then I was back to smoking regularly again.
BTW I am more worried what it is doing to my lungs then anything...

Nah, cutting down has never worked for anyone I've ever met. Just decide to stop and you're free. Simple as that. I felt no withdrawal or any nasty symptoms anytime I quit anything. I really dunno whats wrong with you people.

Find a pack of 'low birth-weights'. You gotta pick choose your brand if you don't want cancer.

Yes I agree..I like blunts with weed too. I wouldnt smoke cigars now anyway, it was just what I was craving at the time. I wish I could afford some chronic..oh well, I got to wait until a week from now, unless my tax refund check gets here sooner. What can you do?
