I'm pretty sure the difference between wet and dry weights is more substantial than that. I was under the impression that 3.5 dry would have been about 30 wet. Thought the ratio was about 1:10 but I might be wrong. Never dealt with freshies before.
But yeah, I'm not really understanding the original poster's question either.

It is not exactly 10 to 1, like many people say.
Strain is a factor, some dry to nothing some dry to something more substantial.
Also, the harvest time effects this as well, since the larger they get, the more water they contain in proportion.
If you always harvest well before veil tearing, your fruits will be peak potency, and will dry to roughly the same weight if had let then grow too long, and let the cap flatten out.
I have seen 35 grams wet dry to 2 grams, and I have seen 35 grams wet dry to 4 grams, depending on strain, and time of harvest.

i see what your saying for sure. ive had several friends who attempt to relate their wet fungus experience to my dryed fungus experiences. they have ate 1/4 of wet fungus while ive eaten several 1/8ths and my experience vs theirs, my was a hell of a lot more out there.

Ok thanks, so basically just dry them and weigh them 3.5, and that would be an 8th

Yes, and eighth is 3.5 grams.
1/8th of an ounce. Eighths don't change value, its the mushrooms that lose water weight when dried.

Ok, if I have 3.5 grams fresh then dry them would it still be the same dry like would it be 1/8th still?

Yeah, you got fucking ripped. About 92% of a mushroom's mass is water. So you payed for the weight of that water, then he removed that water.
Find him, and hit him in the head with a brick seven times.

Yeah you got ripped off. If i understand your question your wanting to know if a 3.5 grams of fresh mushroom, which is then dried, is the same in potency as the same mushrooms fresh.
It all depends on the drying method. But generally just assume some potency was lost.

Good news is if they are actives, you won't need much at all, and even though you got ripped you can prob still trip.

That sucks, 3.5g is less than the weight of a nickel. I'd take it up with the dude.
