how long to cook 21 grams of substrate via boiling/steaming.
doc34 called for 15mins at 15psi.
pf tek jars are usually cooked for 1hour at 15psi or steamed for 2hours. Should I go for 30mins? 45mins? an hour?

I'm going for 35mins, started by adding boiling water to the brown rice flour 10mins before putting them in a pot of boiling water about half way full which is more than completely past the ~1cm layer of substrate.

PC for 15 minutes at 15 psi if you are using my Agar Substitute Tek Any more than that and it will fry the hell out of it.
Are you wanting to do a bigger batch or what? I don't fully understand what you are asking.

i say 10 mins to account for the heat up to pressure timing
BRF agar is a great substitute but it has to be done correctly. you kinda gotta figure it out via trial and error you want the surface to be somewhat hardened with bottom still being mushy (hard to explain >.>)
no worries though, it's pretty ez

i tried like 25-30mins for 16ml and 5grams in boiling water not a pressure cooker.
I'm trying to find out the proper cook time with steaming and not a PC

a microwave would prolly work better than boiling it
but you just need to get it to the consistency i tried to describe and figure out the cook time yourself
trial + error = try again
