Question about growing bagseed

Hey everyone, I have a question about some bagseeds that I have. I recently bought an ounce of some brick weed that I collected the seeds from, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of results would I see if I were to plant and grow them? Would I be able to get some high quality looking bud from it, or will it resemble the brick weed that I have? It's not the best weed, but it's definitely not the worst, right in between I guess. It has a few stems ands seeds, has some red hairs, kind of dark in color, but not the cheap brown Mexican weed. If anyone has done this before and has some pictures or some advice, please share them with me. Thanks!

if you grow em right you will end up with some pretty decent smoke says i. just be sure to pluck out males unlike its former grower and your smoke should be way better by the time it matures. you also have to take into account that usually weed that is brought across borders is force dried which lowers THC levels, so that and keeping males out you should be pretty well off. peace

Im wondering the same thing if you find some seeds that are from some decent/good bud you find, and grow them under 400w hps, if you could end up with nice crystally looking buds, or if you can only mainly get that from vendor bought seeds.

Thanks for the help, I never knew that. I always thought I would end up with some kind of middie-plant. All this time i've been throwing the seeds out because I thought they were useless. I'll definitely give this a try. Also, I read that plants grown from bagseed have an increased chance of being hermaphrodites, is there anything I can do to prevent this?

why waste your time with ditchweed when there's so many other tasty varieties most likely two houses down from you?

i would not call growing bag seed a waist of time, but i do agree that if you get good seeds then the outcome will be better

Exactly what i was thinking. To the op, if you collected the seeds from some smoke that was less than satisfactory, you will have exactly the same smoke man, your question almost made no sense...good luck though i suppose

this is not true!!
the reason most shitty weed is shitty is because it is older and bricked weed and the males are not removed so it has seeds
grow the same weed with no males and your end up with decent sensi bud

Last year I grew bag seed from some shitty schwag and yes the smoke will be 100x better than the bag you got it from. Remember that bud wasn't cared for right. It was quick dried into bricks wrapped in plastic and transported for awhile. From that seed I got a plant that smelled of berries and bubblegum, the other female I grew was the most citrus smelling bud I have ever come across...did I mention the buds were purple? They both were harvested in late october with a final height of 7ft

man i don't think that any of you guys are making any sense. The quality of the seed only makes a small difference we are talking about different strains with seeds. If you have a good strain seed, it will be easier to grow good bud but you have to take into consideration that when the bud is developing and you are not throwing any nutes into it the bud will obviously be underdeveloped hence giving it a smaller THC content and not look so good. However if you care for the plant and feed it nutes and keep it humid and happy all the time the plant will grow to the best that the seed will allow it to be. So in conclusion when you come across a q,per of shitty weed don't think that just because it looks shitty thats what the plant will look like, you have to take in consideration of the previous grower and wonder how he/she grew it and think if you can do any better. Take a plant science class and dnt be such a dumbass.

the shitty brick weed you get was probablly sitting in some warehouse for any length of time months, years, thc degrades a lot over time. it wont compare to freshly harvested herb

Shitty ass weed is all you'll get, most of the seeds are probably dead anyways. And plus, you'll either get a lot of males, or if you manage to pull the males before they can polinate the females, you will have a plant with purple/blue in the stem, and that meens your growing some nasty ass dirtweed. Don't be cheap, buy the seeds that are feminized and push out some kind ass kronik

lol I grew some better weed than I can buy outta mids bagseed.
I found Hermies a few times and even the bud from that was better than I could buy anywhere. also purple blue in the stem is the reverse of green. Green conducts photosynthesis and soaks in the light. stems dont need to soak in the light
