Just saw these this morning. All of my wood cakes are fruiting and I would have taken more pictures but the batteries died.

Older pics of the mycelium growing through the tyvek

depends on the size of the grow. I did these little jars just for fun. They have no problem colonizing a pint wide mouth before it dries up as cubes do.
Here is a bigger tub of oyster that will be ready for the fruit chamber soon. It is colonized rye grain mixed with fir chips. I know that straight wood chips are not idea because they will be digested much slower than straw or a bran/wood chip/saw dust cake. They will be mixed in some out door wood chips after the first flush. You would not believe the haet and condensation coming off of this thing. The oysters produce some heat!! I guess I will have to birth this today.

I just thought of taking a temp reading. Holy shit!!!! Check this out. The first is the amibent room temp. Same room as the tub is incubating. I use not heat, room temp is just fine.

In the winter when I have a lot of substrate bags colonizing, I shut off the heat, and the mycelium heats our whole place.
Be sure to mist and fan those oysters like hell. They hate terrariums because they get CO2 logged too easily. They'll do best at 50F-60F in open air. Outdoors or a cool garage is best. If you mist often enough, you don't even need the terrarium. RR

yeah, I will start taking care of them. Its funny how things get neglected until you see fruits. These will go out side for the next week since we are actually going to get rain.
