Mycelium Contamination?

How's it going everyone? I have a question for anyone with valid information about contaminations in the mycelium/colonization stages.
Before beginning experiments, I read an array of different growing processes and tips. It was ultimately my understanding from all view points that sterilization and clean work area were essential to the inoculation process as well as through the entire duration of the growing process... so I took precautions in every angle I could; I worked from a sterilized glove box, in a room that closely resembled the cleanliness of a lab.
The inoculation process went okay. 8 out of 12 Jars showed signs of colonization in a couple of days, shortly after 1 more, 3 of the jars never did anything (re-examined, during the inoculation process the syringe wasn't shaken up well between jars and flame sterilization)
Herein lies the problem. I am about 4-5 weeks into colonization... most of the jars are what I would consider at full colonization.... The mycelium, during the first 3 weeks, was a nice solid white color, however, towards the end a few of the jars developed a very very light blue tint in some of the areas.
From what I read this is mold contamination, but I also read that if you don't see contaminations in the first couple weeks, that the mycelium colony was strong enough to fight off mold contaminations. To be safe I segregated the jars that had the blue tints, later to be scientifically examined and discarded, but I would inquire to those who know more about this than I do....
Could that light blue tint (barely noticeable) be anything other than a contamination?
Any information in this regard will be appreciated.
Thank you for your help.
Cheers.
