its the only one i have, and on a few other different communities waffles has replaced oink because most of the seeders and their albums migrated there. that's just how it went down, waffles is oink essentially.
i wouldn't know though

The only one I have tried since Oink is stmusic. I find it to be very lacking. To help remedy the situation I immediately uploaded Old and in the Way.

Does waffles have applications? I like oink for both music and applications.

waffles.fm. honestly, what.cd isnt too bad but i know a lot of oink's seeders went directly to waffles.fm, it was literally the first of the oink clones and frankly is so far the best as far as numbers go.

It all depends on what you want. as I said, I have been able to find everything I have ever wanted on what/stmusic.
I have not looked for any hippie jam shit though.

you could try dimeadozen.org , you can find lots of dead, jerry, doors ect...ect.... But they do not allow anything that has been released ever on the tracker and all torrents are lossless, meaning absolutely no mp3, wma,OGG Vorbis or anything else that is lossy. The plus side is everything is either live shows or unreleased demos and such. they are capped to a membership of 100,000 i believe and they are always at capacity, but you can get in if you are persistant (try every few minutes). just keep up on the ratios and you should find almost anything you want. And what is wrong with etree? there are also a few sites that are dedicated to nothing but jerry and dead stuff, but I am not sure exactly what they are since I have well over 2500 hours of dead and jerry I dont need to find much more. Good luck and let me know if you have problems getting into dime. Peace

I have some stmusic invites and I uploaded a lot of my old and in the way, guthrie, ginsberg, yonder mountain, and Jerry Garcia shows, along with a some others. Overall, stmusic is no OiNK, nor did I expect it to be. I would like to try out waffles and what but alas not invite. I figure in the next few months one will emerge as a successor, but I wonder which. I have been thinking about starting a thread like this for awhile just to see what everyones opinions are.

Would it be possible to set me up with an stmusic invite man? I had a good ratio on Oink... I uploaded twice the amount that I downloaded.
