Hey guys, dropped for my first time.. (second but first was pretty shit)
Id like to note that I was more or less 'fucked up' rather than enlightened or anything. I took 1 and a half and there was minor, minor warbling.. I cant even explain how I was messed up it was strange. I noticed things being funny though. I guess it wasn't the mind blowing experience I thought it would be. Thanks to you guys though for peaceful words that helped me get through the length.
Very over exaggerated drug 
(Although Im not going to give up on it necessarily)

Well according to people we talked to on half a hit saying how incredibly fucked they were... They over exaggerated it and so does everyone else around here.

sounds like you had a low dose... or you arent as sensitive as others.
also its never guaranteed you are going to see mind blowing visuals.

Acid seems very dose dependant for visuals, seems a hit or miss if your playing with low doses.
Try a few more hits if you feel upto it.

It sounds to me like you might have not taken some LSD. Perhaps you took an RC? Can you be sure that what you took was actual acid? I'm not trying to rip on you or anything, but really, a lot of people will pass off an RC or something and say that it's acid.
People are all different. You might be one of those individuals who has to take a higher dose in order to get where others would get on a lower dose.
Also, if you're looking for visuals, you need to place yourself in a correct environment. Next time, lock yourself up in a closet that has absolutely no light in it. The darkness devoids your mind of external stimuli to interpret, and therefore, your mind will begin to create it's own stimuli to interpret, and thus, visuals will form.

Try splitting a five strip with someone for some more visuals. I always say, one MAY get you there but when in doubt just take two and don't look back. Also sounds like your L wasn't too spectacular so splitting a five strip should get you some pretty good visuals. Good luck with your future acid trips and i hope LSD will reveal it's mysticism for you as it did for me. Gotta be willing to let go. Peace.

I would guess an RC rather than acid.
I get visuals and warping before I start to feel "fucked up".
RC's have different effects in different proportions.

I think soulcircus nailed what I am feeling. Im thinking of trying 4 hits at my cottage in the summer.. but im scared of 'what if' it is good acid.. Then im sure ill be in for something haha
Its one of the things that scares me about LSD is I never know how much im taking really

Heh... 4 hits is fun... craaaazy visuals. In any case, my face almost melted off from sunburn and I didn't even realize it until my friend was like, "your face is kinda red..." I touched my face and felt like my skin was liquid. That shit was scary

i know one acid i got one hit makes people a absolute mess in a thoughty way thats can be visual or not it can be many many things. might add vibes make the biggest differance in effects i assume cause hippie acid is the same drug but a totally differnt trip

Yeah. Stuff is the real deal. However, dose, set and setting make a big difference. Low doses aren't all that spectacular, but also the environment you trip in can completely change the nature of the trip.
I like to trip outside, in the day if possible. If you want to make sure you 'get' it try listening to Are You Shpongled? by Shpongle. That music is made for tripping and it is so amazing on acid I can't even describe.
Acid isn't always that visual. The visuals you get from it are not nearly as crazy as mushroom visuals. Daylight seems to give you much more visuals than at night on acid, but even on some strong trips most of what I see will be tracers, after images, some patterning and rippling. On heavy doses it's pretty amazing, but I don't really think acid is all about visuals.

I have never had great visuals with acid, and not even shrooms until 5-7 grams.
My buddy needs 10 to get visuals, so I think everybody is different.
I knew a chick who would go off on 2 grams real nice.

Learning how to induce visuals and control them will come with time and experience.
But dosing heavy makes it alot easier.

I can guarantee that you got weak stuff, just as I did my first two times.
Just like MDMA logos, this is no foolproof way to determine quality, but what exactly did you take? If it was a blotter, the presence of artwork seems connected with quality somewhat... I think if someone put the time to get blotters with artwork they probably have a better product.
Simple solution to your problem: Buy a hit or two and drop it with your dealer. Hell, offer to pay for his hit if you're up to it. If he/she says yes, it's probably good stuff. And don't just leave it at that, really take it with him/her... if it's good, buy some more. If it's not, save that extra money and even ask for yours back. Dealers are people too, you can always work something out.
