Faster than the speed of light?

Hey i was wondering since einstein said nothing moves faster than the speed of light, what about electrons noticibly being in 2 places at once?
Cosmic consciousness?
interconnectedness?
The string theory?
Sympathetic Vibrational Magnetism?
Or seeing as these things cant be sceintifically prooved they dont move faster than the speed of light?
Surely that which connects life itself, is the same that is life itself, Tao, Nirvana etc, the unspeakable the ultimate reality of all must communicate faster than any manifestation of this life force ie (light/gravity etc)
PS I this forum!!!

The less you define your terms, the less anyone is going to be able to comment on anything. Most of the things you stated are very vague and undefined, and the speed of light is a fixed constant. How can anyone try to interface the two?
It's like asking whether love moves at the speed of light.

EM radiation always travels at c matter cannot be accelerated up to c without applying an infinite amount of energy... bell's theorem ( the ERP thought experiment) examines the "instantaneous" (or supraluminal) transfer of information...
oh, and "there are no coincidences"....

I was watching history channel specials on stuff like this, and apparently scientists think their beginning to find exceptions to Einsteins theory. so i wouldn't say its impossible. but you bring up a good point about manifestation being faster than light, i think it could be the same speed as light, but since light is more physical and thought processes and mental manifestations are more metaphysical i don't think the same laws apply.

I believe totally there are no coincidences, i think ive answered my own question as all there is in its purest form, or non form, has got to communicate faster then anything which it manifests.
And your right it is like asking does love move faster than light, so kinda pointless.
Like does karma travel faster than the speed of light?
But einstein also stated every action has an equal and opposite reaction, surely he mustev applied this to everything but i guess what you cant proove as a physicist theres no point in trying to

The speed of light is not really a constant. When scientists began measuring it, what happened was that they kept coming up with different numbers that indicated that c was actually decreasing ever so slightly. In the end they simply averaged their results to a comfortable theoretical constant. McKenna touched on this briefly in one of his talks. The only constant in the universe is change. No thing stays the same, not even light. Every thing is altered again.

Unbelieveable. No, it was not Einstein.

Einstein was good but he didn't have the whole picture.
Several modern studies contradict this speed of light stuff.
No I can't be assed to find the sources, lol.

Like Prot says in K-PAX, Einstein said nothing can accelerate to faster than the speed of light, he said nothing about particles that are already at superluminal speeds.
P.S. This forum s you too.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faster-than-light#Tachyons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacheon In special relativity, while it is impossible to accelerate an object to the speed of light, or for a massive object to move at the speed of light, it is not impossible for an object to exist which always moves faster than light. The hypothetical elementary particles that have this property are called tachyons. Their existence has neither been proven nor disproven, but even so attempts to quantise them show that they may not be used for faster-than-light communication. Physicists sometimes regard the existence of mathematical structures similar to Tachyons arising from theoretical models and theories as signs of an inconsistency or that the theory needs further refining.

alienmindbook.org
gives a good background on negative energy and electrogravity and how interstellar travel is possible.
It delves into the quantum world if you can vibe with the author you will know exactly what he is talking about.
Along the same lines of the interconnectedness the OP mentioned.

It IS all an empti illusion, everything we perceive as reality is not true reality it is a manifested, impermanent, multidimensional illusion of the eternal. The way i see it, this eternal has an imbalance that has a need to BE, until is just IS.
This should not be seen as life, the world, the universe is bad or impure, it is just a manifestation of the eternal, part of the impermanence, changing, possibility, potential, where as the eternal is permanent.
Why cling to whats impermanent/changes? That only brings suffering. If you accept everything true nature reveals itself to you beautifully.
Its all too beautiful! Impermanence is amazing, its like anything can happen, but then theres an eternal force behind this impermanence, its a perfect balance.
Im so happy right now words can't describe.

Seems like you may be blowing things out of proportion.... If I said that Nancy Reagan was the current President, and you corrected me, should I go off on you for correcting me....? Name dropping, or "fact" dropping when it is incorrect, should be corrected - or shouldn't be dropped at all....
