if you had the time, couldnt you fan and mist the sides of monotubs regularly? i see good results with just neglecting it, but wouldnt you see better results with less CO2?

i fan and mist my monotubs when i think about it which is at least once a day because the fan circulating in the room drys out the casing layer by the polyfilled holes.

I thought the whole idea behind monotubs was to set it and forget it as it (properly constructed) would regulate its own environmental conditions...

2nd grow will be the same as the first, only better!

yea it is. but if your casing is drying out then it should be misted. i see no harm in aiding with fae's either

you can fan and mist, just make sure you spray the area with lysol prior to doing so and be very careful, the reason some say not to fan and mist monotubs is because once a contam gets in a montub there is nowhere for it to go, it will stay in there and likely gain a foot hold.

b4b obviously knows what he is doing and is experienced enough to fan and mist a montub, but with lack of experience and an un-clean environment it is usually suggested to not open the monotub AT ALL

this is obviously not the case if you have a cool mist or some other FAE device feeding air into your tub, in that case it is perfectly acceptable to fan and mist because the FAE will help keep contams from finding cozy little homes in your myc

either way, just be extremely careful when opening a monotub, the only way for a contam to get in is for you to let it in
