Delicious meals from restaraunts are one thing, but if you make it yourself (assuming you're not a fuck-up) it will always be just the way you like it

Ground beef cooked with cumin, cayenne and Frank's Red Hot. Top it off with a little more Frank's, some sour cream, black beans, cheese, and salsa. Yum.

Sounds delicious! I always add garlic and just a hint of mustard to my ground beef before stuffing it into the shells.

First off, straight up tomatoes are just fucking vile things. Secondly, I don't keep lettuce around since it would just go bad too quick. Thirdly, the difference between a burrito and a taco is how you wrap it.

Burritos normally include refried beans, and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Tacos usually have a corn tortilla.

all the burritos around here have black beans.

I don't particularly care for the taste of lettuce, although in small amounts, it does add to the overall crunchiness of the taco, and helps keep the grease of the meat from making the shell soggy.

what kind of lettuce? iceberg is shite, and i can barely eat it anymore these days. boston, romaine, and red leaf on the other hand, are quite tasty and absolutely essential in tacos, wraps, and sandwiches for me.

Any and all tomato forms, such as sauce, or just chunks of tomato? I can't see anyone not liking pizza because it has tomato sauce.

Legally speaking, I think this thread has to be in OTD, along with the other twelve dozen taco threads.

i couldn't resist. after getting out of class, i rode to the grocery store before heading home. i made some delicious chicken crunchy tacos. except i didn't have any beans.
my tacos contained: chicken, chopped baby bellas, and shallots cooked in Frank's, ground red pepper, garlic powder, and a touch of worcestershire fiesta 3 cheese blend of shredded cheese chopped roma tomatoes shredded green leaf lettuce chunky salsa and some more frank's red hot.
to compensate for the lack of beans, they were just packed with plenty of chicken. not really traditional tacos, but fucking tasty nonetheless

Tacos traditionally don't have cheese either (I think).

Anyone ever had chorizo? It's a spicy Mexican sausage to be stuffed in tortillas. It makes for a really cheap meal if you buy the ground pork and spice it yourself.
