If you want to have shitty teeth, then buy a distiller. You ever met someone who grew up in a town without flouride in the water? Their teeth are so awful they might as well be British.

Talk about arrogance. It's an insult to our nature that we need small amounts of some toxic chemical in our water to keep our teeth healthy. Fluoride's actually bad for your teeth.

Actually, if you look at statistics on rates of tooth decay from state to state, there is no difference in the rate of tooth decay from states that add fluoride to states that don't, no matter what the ADA says.

if you look at it on a global level you'll see the same trend, some believe it
simply boils down to better oral hygiene in most of the world

Oral hygiene is overrated. A healthy sugar-free diet will keep your teeth healthy. Animals never brush their teeth and they have great teeth.

Somewhat of a tangent, but third world countries get introduced to sugary Coca-Cola (marketing/dollar > actual value of product) and this creates the need for (fluoridated) toothpastes.

Rainwater ain't that clean thanks to human activity. You still filter your rainwater right? :P Oh and I don't think just because prozac has a flourine molecule in it that it's related to flouride. N-methyl-3-phenyl-3-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-propan-1-amine is prozac.

I do understand though the idea of accumulating toxins in plant materials, but we first have to understand whether plants absorb and retain concentrations of flouride or not.

tea has been proven to retain fluoride, other plants probably do as well

I dont worry about my drinking water, the spring water you buy in many bottles is the very same as that filling my toilet

Why do you make such assumptions. We have a lot of fluoride in our water in the realm of fluoride. More importantly, you inhale the vaporized fluoride when you take a shower. Bottled water is not the same as tap water: There's two kinds of bottled water: spring water and bottled water. Spring water comes from a spring; bottled water is municipal water that's treated (and some brands don't even treat it).

*artesian spring that pumps 3 million gallons of pure untainted, untreated water into our municipal water supply each day

the city even supplies for several bottling plants

our city pool is filled with this same untreated water, they use no chlorine and the abundant trout are evidence of that
