Any trips I've taked during the day have never even come close to night trips. I guess there's just to much more to the imagination at night, and the visuals have always been 10X better.
Anyone out there really like to daytrip?

my favorite is to munch around 5 so i peak around sunset. i get the beautiful grass and clouds during the day, and the arizonan sunset which is amazing, then into night with the stars and stuff. it kind of leads you even more into another place after it gets dark.

Yes I enjoy evening tripping best. I think it has something to do with there be less stimulus. Seeing as its dark and quieter. My mind seems like it can just relax more. However dont trip to late into the evening. Because if the sun rises and the rest of the world wakes up the trip will go bad.

Night Trips are soo much trippier, espcially if u do it on holloween , i have yet to do that, but i'm planing on it when it comes around

Daytrips are definetly fun, I have done that twice. It is a really different experience, I would just make sure it is somepalce you are comfortable with so no paranoia could come about. I almost prefer night trips to day though just because the whole trip is just so mysterious in the dark.

i've always been a big fan of afternoon into evening trips. i was actually about to trip last night, but convinced my friends to come with me up to my cabin in lake arrowhead this weekend. we're planning on dosing around noon, for a full day trip - might even take the shrooms on the road to a trail or a lake, and dose there. night trips are fun, but i prefer daytime.

Daytrips are great. I think that one needs to be somewhat more "secure" or should I say "grounded". It's easier to lose it during the day. Not recommended for heroic doses unless one has a remote local.
I find confronting nature during the day to be totally awesome. Last daytrip for me found me face to face with a black crow sitting on my fence just watching me. It felt like an eternity. Spooked me a bit too. Thought it was my time to go, if you know what I mean
Anyhow,
Average dose in a good setting, alone preferably. That's my take.

Differnt drugs i like to do at differnt times. DXM i'd prefer to do durning the day but lsd and mushrooms i'd way preffer to do durning night. Alot more visuals just because in shadows there isnt anything but the drug to fill in the darkness ~

Night trips are sure much much more fun!!
The visuals are way more intense..!
Have tripped a few times in the day..but that was away from civilisation.. in the woods.. that was sure amazing!! the leaves and trees.. and the patterns they formed were crazy.. but nothing like the visuals and hallucinations at night!!
If I had one trip today.. I'd sure drop it in the night!!

Go to your calander and find out when the next full moon is, get out of the city and into nature. Night trippin' during a full moon when there are no clouds is incredible. Everything is nice and mellow in the moonlight.

Day tripping is best done alone IMHO. Night trips are best with one or two close friends who are also experienced with shrooms.
Just my two cents, but the day thing has only been good for me when I am alone...

Daytime is fun.
I recomend doing it during late noon so you can experience the trip in the day AND night time.
Just a thought.

Both night and day have their good/bad sides..
But im a night time kinda guy, I like doing everything at night, I usually sleep throgh most the early morning and live through the afternoons and nights

I dont know why but i seem to like day trips. My trips tent to go more negative at night, all the darkness and shit gives me bad vibes. During the day i love going on my balcony and looking down at the city, beautiful while tripping!

I have only tried shrooms once, but daytime was amazing. i think becuase there is more visual input. but when i did them it lead into the night and in the evening when the clouds where purple i just sat and staired at them

To me day tripping seems alot more extroverted, gets you more into the world around. Wheras night tripping seems to have a more spiritual, introverted aspect to it. The visuals experienced too, seem to have a more open-eyed, morphing effect at day, and alot more CEV's at night.
My experience anyway.

Day tripping is incredibly fun. Go hiking somewhere neat: the ocean, pine forests, corn fields, lakes, ponds, rivers, old growth forests, cliffs. Take a look at the sky, watch the clouds. Look for birds, hawks and other big birds are unbelieveably fun to watch. Take a look at the ground, see the grass, the plants and flowers blooming in the sun.
Night is just as fun only different aspects are apparent. Night tends to produce stronger visuals and everyone just loves great visuals.

I agree, if you day trip you want to go somewhere and connect with nature. It's the best trip you will have. Go with a bunch of your close friends, find a nice place away from everyone else, and just go nuts. If you can camp there stay the whole night and trip also. Bring glow sticks and run around in the forest.

Ration your shrooms so you can trip through the day into the night, provided you have enough. The only problem with night tripping is if you've had a hard day. Being tired while tripping really ruins it.

The only time I tripped during the day was at a Music festival where over half the people there were twisted on some kind of psychedelic, great music too. It was a great experience but mostly because of the setting, I really couldn't imagine tripping hard during the day at say, the local mall, or other crowed area with normal people around without it ruining the trip. I guess my point is it depends on where you're going to be when tripping.

A day-trip can be just as good, if not better than a night trip.
During the day, a trip outdoors can take on a much grander scale, and staring at the clouds on a nice day can be quite awesome.

Day trips can be awesome! I was in a park with a bunch of people I didnt' know, who were not tripping and I found the whole thing very cool! There were paths and trees and kids giggling and people playing volleyball and all kinds of stuff around us.
It doesn't really take yarbles! you _must_ know your tolerance though, you must know what will get you right to the edge of keeping it together among other humans.

I have enjoyed my day trips. I am usually in a better mood and well rested during the day and I think that makes for a better experience. Sunrise and sunset are great as are parks and beaches. Really anything cool outside can be interesting under the influence. The mall on Black Friday was a crazy experience with all of different people everywhere. Just don't flip out and get arrested. I'm thinking about going to a casino next time.

Didn't actually read through all the posts, just wanted to add my thoughts to the pile. Day tripping can be fun, but also keep in mind your pupils are going to be much bigger, meaning everything is going to be very bright. The one good thing about daytripping is, you can see nature (it is very beautiful). Overall night tripping is better (also gives a alot more visuals). Peace - --

Night tripping has many neat advantages...
Day tripping has different advantages...
To combine the best of both worls combine them! Start two hours or more before dawn...trip out on the visuals and get scared by your imagination...watch the sunrise...then trip out n nature in the soft light of morning. By the time it gets bright as hell you finished!
Or...Start of a little before dusk trip out on nature in the crazy light of the setting sun... watch the sunset...THEN watch the shit that comes out at night.
I think that sunrise and sunset are a fuckin' must for anyoune into trippin' !!!

I havent read this entire forum, but just the words day tripping cought my attention. I actually recommend a day-trip. Its one of the best ways to really come in touch with nature, at least for me! I suggest eating 3 grams. Then going to a state park or somewhere secluded if you prefer. I live by the ocean, so that is where I go. Bring someone you really like with you. Have a picnic, with orange juice. And take it from there. Its the best. Lying on your back and looking up is way out, too.

According to me night trippin is the best time.
I dont rmember getting visual on any of my trip .
But living in a big city like Montreal, where theres cops everywhere, can get you easilly in trouble during day if you start bad tripping.

I've only had a few mush trips and they've all been in the day and I found that on a shitty cloudy day made shittier by the fact that school started the next day I had my best trip mush really messes with your mind no matter what time's on the clock.

I usually trip at night if I want to have a more introspective experience; or want to be in a more intimate setting with friends. Day trips are fun at lower doses. The effects are more subtle: once I dosed around noon and after a while thought, "these shrooms aren't doing anything." I look at my watch and realize I've just spent the last three and a half hours looking at citrus fruit...
Nature is fun while day-tripping, but the city takes on new aspects during the day. Coming down by evening is nice too, as you can still get a decent night's sleep. While I can see day trips inducing paranoia, I find that daylight eases my anxiety (especially when I come up), as I am too busy taking in my surroundings.
So, in general for me: day-trips are more pleasant, night trips are more "rewarding".

I love getting stoned during the day, but as far as tripping goes, I can't really decide if I like night or day better. There's so many bright colors during the day, but there's also a lot to be said for the night.

once tripped at night during a full moon, and i got convinced i was a werewolf.. at first i was scared as hell and i kept thinking oh my god any minuite now its gonna happen and im gonna turn into a werewolf.. then i thought i did and i was running on all fours and howling and stuff, and i felt so cool.. see i was worried before that i would kill my buddys and stuff but then when 'it happend' i felt like i was a werewolf on mush , and was to mellow and trippy to be evil. all my friends thought i was just tripping and started running aorund on all fours to.. such fun. try running on all fours some time on mush, its so crazy.. i honestly felt like a wolf but on mush, so it was like a completely diffrent perspective on the trip, if that makes sense. hell for all i know it actually happend. must of scared the hell out of the neighbours tho
