I just nocced up my first grain jars of Docs PESA...
Gonna do a small monotub, or should I call it a mini-mono, for prints to send to the fsre.nl. I'll be passing them on, labeled up as "Docs PESA" with a link to here.

Quick update on the grow. Gonna update with some pics soon but I thought I'd give a quick run down of the story so far.
As above I nocced up 4x 1 pint jars (I have a small PC ) of Rye. These became my G1 jars. These took about 14 days from inoculation (spore syringe) to being fully colonized, with one shake. I though that was pretty good! Showed some nice rhizomorphic growth as well. (No photos of that bit im afraid.) I then took one of these jars and did g2g to 8 more pint jars of Rye. These took about 12 days to fully colonize as well. Some got more grain during the g2g and were a bit faster. No contams at all making the spawn....
So I had 8 pints of nice G2 spawn and a few odds and ends of sub hanging around, so I mixed up the following (rough amounts): - about 8 pints of coir, when I originally made this I added about 5% chicken manure dissolved in water to up the Nitrogen a bit. - about 8 pints of field hpoo - made it up to about 21 pints with straw (about 5 pints).
This was all pasteurized and then I made it all into a monotub. So about 28 pints in all at roughly 2.5:1 spawn ratio.
Now that was last friday, just over 5 days ago. I had a look today and it's coming along nicely. I had to cover it up to keep light out! The whole surface has a ton of regular little rhizomorphs reaching upwards!
I might case it Friday if it's ready otherwise it'll have to wait till Tuesday.
Looking forward to seeing how these turn out.
Nice strain Doc. I like mucho, cheers!!!

Just checked the tub this morning and there was a nasty whiff of bacteria!! I dug a corner out. The top was looking nice but unfortunately the bottom of the sub was way too wet.
So that one's now compost.......
Oh well, that's my last tub for a while. I got a few left and have had a couple of odd trips of late so I'm gonna take a well earned break!
Many thanks must go out to all the members of this community. I've learned a lot here for which I give my thanks.
I've got the bug and I'm now off on an adventure into the wonderfull world of edibles...

I lost them all in a house fire and i would give both my nuts and my legs to get them back--I had over two hundred PESA pints and lost them all so if any body has an original or one they made one that is clean that I could use one to pm me if you do the moderators dont like beggars if you call this begging.
I will make sure you will be paid in a way you could never imagine
Thanks

fOR THE FIRST ORIGINAL PRINT AND I CAN TELL BY HOW THEY FLUSH i WILL GIVE A CLEAN QT JAR OF HONEY WATER AND A CRISP $20.00 BILL BUT IT HAS TO BE TO THE ORIGINAL OR ONE GROWN FROM IT AS LONG AS IT IS CLEAN

If it's PESA why does it matter if the print was from the batch in question or not? I mean it's multispore regardless. So when you say you can tell by how it flushes I don't understand what you mean by that. The only thing that can give any type of consistency is an isolate or clone from my understanding. I mean I have PESA but it's from a trusted vendor. What would make a print of that different or special from the print you seek?

Multispore they are but putting me with that strain is like putting peanut butter with jelly ---they just go together.

Are you saying that you don't think spores carry similarities of their parents? How do you think "strains" are stabilized? Not all PESA prints will be the same.
