casing layer...

im trying out a few different things, as i get ideas from the site.. i got a few different things going on with some mono tubs aslo, but anyways... this is a small foil pan with a quart of rye spawn, cased with verm.. i know its pry not ideal to case with 100% verm, but i did it anyways, because i want to see the difference in colinization between my others.. here is a picture of it..
i cased it 4 days ago and the casing layer seems to have a bunch of myc trying to grow straight into the air like grass kinda, but white.. i know that the casing layer is not 100% colonized, so should i keep it incubating? or could i go ahead and put it into fruiting conditions? thanks!

I would patch and case immediately but don't take my advice I'm still working on my first casing.
I've heard though it's best to patch the most aggressive growth and fruit at about 20% colonized.

Initiate fruiting now. The casing layer isn't supposed to be 100% colonized. You've already let it go a little longer than needed.

and you're been seemingly credible for longer than needed. What's the matter, can't find you're own work?
it would be believable if you didn't take credit for other peoples work

knock those rizo's down with some mists of water and put into fruiting conditions. keep that casing layer moist.
