No Luck w/ My First San Pedro Attempt

I wanted to get some opinions of why the experience was so light. I know that cuttings can be quite variable in their mescaline content, so I'm pretty sure I must have received some pretty weak cuttings.
I blended up about 5 pounds of cuttings, following the tek posted on Lycaeum. The procedure was simple, and didn't require any cooking: Cut up clippings, cut out woody core, put in food processor, strain out liquid, add juice of 8 or so lemons to the left-over pulp plus boiling water, process again, and strain again, then freeze liquid.
We divided up the liquid between 3 people (roughly 3 cups each), and drank over 30 minutes. A light body high after 30 minutes (most likely placebo), light euphoria and feeling of well being after about an hour. At 4 hours, after eating a big lunch, I would get these waves of warmth eminating from my stomach through my whole body. At 5 or 6 hours, I was getting very very light visuals, very much like a mushroom come-up. That lasted about 45 minutes, and then very quickly receded, and after 7 hours I felt very normal.
I had a little food in my stomach to absorb some of the acidity of the concoction. The clippings were "odd-ball cacti", basically odds and ends, from one of the sponsors here. About half of them were rootings, some ends, and some middle pieces, all about 8" or so in length.
Is the San Pedro experience very strong visually or mentally? I was expecting something more along the lines of Beavis and Butthead Do America. Any ideas or opinions would be appreciated.

This is why you should do an A/B wash on it. Then you can see just how much goodness your getting.
I don't like the idea of eating a foot of san pedro, getting a mild trip, then eating another, and having ego death. Cannabis is alright, I don't mind the stronger trips, even though they can be really harsh, but mescaline, considering how stimulating it is, I just wouldn't want to do it if I didn't know exactly how much I was getting.

One problem is that the mescaline in the plant's cells needs to be cooked out if you're going to make a tea. Try another tek.
