Looking for a book about space
    #8031278 - 02/16/08 01:53 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

I have always been interested in space, our galaxy and others, but I know nothing on the subject. Im looking for a good book to read and was hoping one of you shroomerites could make a good recommendation. I was thinking about picking up A Brief History of Time.

That's a good one and so is The Universe in a Nutshell.

Yea, brief history of time is good.  Its about cosmology more than astronomy/astrophysics.  I have read quite a few 'pop physics' books, and I think it is one of the most basic and digestible by somebody who isnt formally educated in science.

Enjoy it :rocket:
