PC or Pasteurize Spawn bags?
    #8030816 - 02/16/08 11:04 AM (15 years, 11 months ago)

This is specifically for a spawn bag without grains. The sub. is strictly manure, straw, verm, and hyd. lime. Also, any recommendations on ratio of manure:straw that you may like, I would love to hear your suggestions. thanks.

most people would pasteurize to keep beneficial bacteria that keep molds at bay. there are some people like myself and hippiechick that sterilize our substrates.I have not noticed any increase in contamination so it's really your choice.
