Casing in a 10 gallon aquarium?

I'm thinking of attempting casing with some of my next batch of cakes. I have two PMP's for the cakes, but I was thinking of using an old 10 gallon glass aquarium for the casing.
I've read various casing procedures and think I can manage that part fine, but I'm a bit confused when it comes to fruiting.
Could I just case the bottom of the aquarium, as opposed to placing a metal baking tray in the aquarium?
Basically, I just need to know if a casing will fruit in a glass aquarium, with no air pump and manual misting/fanning.
Thanks!

To fruit you will need near 95-99%(for best) humidity and FAE. So that means you will need to spray and fan 3-4 times a day. Even you have an automatic setup, it's best to mist and fan manually atleast once or twice, don't expect your setup to replace the human element. Cover all the bases. As for fruiting in the bottom of an aquarium..It can be done, just have to find a way to keep it from side pinning...by lining the bottom and the sides where the cake will be exposed with a black trash bag..simple nuff huh? ..:) So you are just going to case and not spawn? If you are going to take the time to learn about casing, do yourself a favor and read up on spawning too..Well goodluck..hope some of this helped, as I am stoned as a rat on dcon..:)
Take care,

i'd say line the bottom with perlite and get trays, fill it with sub, and then case the trays..

Take care,
you don't need that much humidity for a casing. casings have their own moisture thus provide their own humidity... more doesn't hurt though.
10gal aquarium isn't a good idea for a casing if u don't want to mist/fan

thats more of a myth then anything sure you could have 85% humidity and it might not even hurt em but why? whats the point? i say high 90's since primordia forms best in the upper 90's.
