Dogfishhead- extra wide stout. its about 18-20 percent alcohol and is thicker than overused motoroil. if you can stomach more than one you're a better man than me.

it's brewed by trappist monks. Chimay, although unreasonably priced (10$ a fucking pint) i think its the best damn beer in the world.
my favorite domestics are Samuel Adams winter ale. and Siner Bock.
full moon winter ALE is the shit.

Chimay is an average beer. Europe is relatively shitty at beer making, except the English that is. Belgians have some notable beers. The rest of Europe can go fuck itself

i agree with the moose drool fans. i'm a big fan of most anything i've had from the lagunitas brewery. they used to have a beer called the hairy eyeball, and it was amazing. they make a mean sour red too.
the stella shoutout is making me giggle over here. thats like the douchiest beer in the world. except maybe corona.

I don't have a particular favorite... I do have several though..
Newcastle (FTW)... Barney Flat's Oatmeal Stout... Arrogant Bastard... Fat Tire.. Red Stripe.. Dogfish Head and Moose Drool makes good shit too. Pretty much any good quality dark brew.. not too fond of ales.. although I have had a few pretty good ones.. I think Hoegarden was one of them
