The new Ishq-Pan Electric album is out.  I'll post a link to the rapidshare file when I get home.  At work now, can't go to those sites here.

The Nature of Light returns to Webbed Hand with this remarkable new album of orchestral ambient soundscapes. Put on some headphones, close your eyes, and listen to a movie unfold in your mind.

this is not really ambient but since it's one of my all time favorites i decided to share it here:

Jikkenteki’s ambitious debut album The Long Walk Home was conceived as an exploration of the nature of duality. Originally released in 2006 by PAR-2 Productions, this epic sonic journey begins with drifting downtempo and ambient soundscapes before shifting into high gear with ripping psychedelic trance and energetic grooves. Inspired by real events, Jikkenteki touches upon the full range of human emotions—from utter joy to devastating loss—and the strange sensation that results from experiencing these conflicting feelings simultaneously. This is a concept album like no other!

Re-released in 2008 under a Creative Commons licence for noncommercial usage. The Long Walk Home appears here with the full cooperation of Jikkenteki and PAR-2 Productions. You are welcome to show your support for this generous initiative by purchasing the original double-CD pressing from the PAR-2 Productions store—it is only USD$13 ncluding shipping! Also be sure to check out Jikkenteki’s second album, Flights Of Infinity.

on another note, specially if you enjoy the 2nd CD make sure you check out his 2nd album.

Damn my net being so slow. I'm trying to keep this going, I really am. 16hr uploads :mad2:
Don't know if anyone already has this but It's a great soundtrack.

"Drawing Restraint 9, a film by Matthew Barney with a soundtrack composed by Björk, represents the first creative collaboration of two of the most protean, dynamic forces in music and fine art.

It is an apt pairing. Refusing to choose between pop pleasure and restless experimentation, Björk's musical vision weds technology and emotion, countering gut-level expression with an insistence upon formal modernity and innovation."

Get me

And here's another. Very dark and intense.

"Sunn O)))'s music plays out at a glacial pace, layers of guitar and bass feedback that would be crushingly heavy if they weren't so stretched out in time. This is heavy metal music played by humans with tremendously decelerated metabolisms, humans whose lifespans play out over centuries rather than decades."

This is kind of freaky and at times suddenly beautiful.

It's been a while since I've heard music that actually scared me, track 10 is frightening:

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - The Effects of 333 (2008)

This soundtrack sounds a bit too epic for such plot, but considering its a hollywood remake, no wonder.

Anyway, the original soundtrack for Tarkowskys movie by Edvard Artemyev is much better.

Here I've putit up. Password is "artemyev", if asked.

Maybe he was referring to the original. :strokebeard:

Yeah dude, that's a wild sound. Track 10 is like tuning into the voices of the human social organism. :hypno:
