Is moisture on BRF jars normal?

my friends jars are 13 days old with what appears to be mycelium at about 50% colonization (hopefully not cobweb). It seems as time goes on and the mycel is growing that more moisture is getting caught between the jar and mycel. The cake substrate is not wet and never appeared to be too wet. Is this a normal process to see. Temp is about 81 to 83 and humidity about 85%. Humidity was over 90% the first week or so but has dropped.

Yeah, you're all good.
They don't need high humidity during colonization though...

The humidity was not anything he was trying to do. He just left the digital sensor in the chamber. Some still have foil, some don't and some have a surgical mask over the top of the ring.

Tell him that he can drop the temperature, and that he shall compare the growth of the sealed and unsealed jars. Or better he shall remove the foil. If made correct, the vermiculte acts as a good barrier. The moisture is normal. good luck and harvest
