Been reading on this site for awhile, I do have a shroom grow going. The mycelium are just starting to appear. Do shrooms and smoke bud.
I just ordered 2 oz of dried san pedro off the internet. I have been getting alot of conflicting information on erowid and other sites as for dosages and dried preparations. I ordered an ounce before and ate 10g raw and had very little to no affect, the a couple days later I ate 12g raw with little to no affect. I would like to know how the others users of this forums would prepare the cactus and how much they would take considering they just received 2 oz of dried san pedro. Thanks Alot

the way i plan to do it is all laid out here its an extraction for pure crystals
or just make tea, boil it for a while, filter and drink. or soak in alcohol, filter, evaporate, then stick it in capsules
from what ive read, 10-12g isnt even close enough unless its peyote that guide says 300g = 3-10 doses depending on potency. so your looking at 100g+

Bad information!
100g? Maybe some potent fresh cactus...
First off, don't buy dried pedro from the internet, it is of questionable legality and raises lots of concern. This might be the practice that gets san pedro scheduled! Don't be a part of that!
Fresh cactus of excellent quality can be obtained for very reasonable prices, just look around.
Dried cactus can be boiled in water, then strained and the water concentrated to a shot or so. If this method is used, I suggest about forty or fifty grams. Some would say to err on the side of caution and start with thirty.
One thing you don't want to do is grind the cactus chunks to a powder, cause then it will be very hard to filter (not impossible though).

To test your cactus, try a tea of 35 grams and see what that does for you.

Dude, I wasn't calling out your tek... Enothe suggested that the original poster try to take a preparation of 100 grams of dried cactus as one dose.
As I know it, 100 grams can easily be two doses if a tea is made, so that could be an extremely strong trip that a first time cactus user might not be comfortable with.
That is the bad information, sorry you took it in another way.
You clearly know that 100 grams is probably not a good starting dose of cactus, so I don't know why you're all pissed off.
