Not at all, and I commend you for stalking her! I am a firm believer in the "facebooking"/"myspacing"/"googling" of possible love interests.

Ok, Tiny rabid birds, just one last thing to say. You don't know her.. You have some vague idea of what she is or could be. Invite her out to starbucks, you don't have to fuck her or get in a relationship. Just see what she's about and if you two click.

Everyone on this thread is missing the moral of the story.
Facebook is a horrible way to get to know someone.

She's not really a bad person, just different that's all.
i know a lot of ultra-conservative people who smoke insane amounts of pot, listen to jam bands, and are generally really awesome people. they listen to rush limbaugh and blame everything on bill clinton, but you'd never know any of this just from hanging out with them, unless you brought up politics that is. also, most of these very conservative stoners that i know, even though i disagree with their views, are much more politically knowledgeable then your average liberal is. whoever it was who said many liberals are some of the most close-minded dismissive people, more so then conservatives, was 100% correct. i know that is offensive ans shocking to most liberals, but it's true in my experience. and i am a liberal BTW.

no...it's true. you probably misunderstood me. many many liberals are very passionate and also very uninformed about a lot of issues. it's as though they think with their emotions instead of their minds. whereas most conservatives i know, even though i personally disagree with most of their stances on the issues, at least seem to have a basic factual grasp regarding both sides of the argument. sure there are uninformed dumb shits on both sides of the spectrum, but i meet a lot more liberals than conservatives who are 100% sure they are right about something, and yet they have no idea what the hell they are talking about or how to prove it. that's my personal observation as a somewhat well read informed liberal. i think for the most part i am a pretty subjective observer too.
i can tell you something else too. it's usually a lot more rewarding to debate a conservative then it is to hear a bunch of liberals blather on about things they obviously have a very vague understanding of. i know i'm generalizing quite a bit, there are plenty of really super intelligent liberals, but with bush being such a horrible disgrace of a leader these days many people who know nothing about politics are all on board the bash bush bandwagon and i find it extremely annoying to hear them preach their drivel sometimes.

As stated before, conservative and religious doesn't mean you would have to hide anything. Test the waters before you decide you don't want to take a dip.

Does forming an opinion about someone that thinks differently than you before you give them a chance make you a dick? Kind of, yes. But it's not like i've never done it before so.... it ain't really that bad but at least give her a shot.
