lol. go ask this girl out. you have no idea about her personality and she might be really cool. If you don't ask her out, you're just gonna beat yourself up about it and regret it, so get it over with and do it already.

Are you afraid she might challenge you? If you always hang with people whose beliefs are exactly the same as yours it would be boring.
A hot debate with someone who doesn't always agree with you can be stimulating!
Give it a shot, what have you got to lose?

wow.. look at all these replies. i passed the fuck out after making the initial post, didn't expect all these.
so just for the record, it's not that i won't associate with someone who's christian. hell, i grew up christian, some of my good friends are relatively devout. but they're the kind who believe it's more in what you believe and the ultimate morality of the actions you take, rather than following the bible strictly, realizing it's an archaic scripture written by fallible men. so it's not that i'd completely ignore a christian girl trying to talk to me, or something like that.
but, in my experience, the kind of person who's still working at a church at this age is generally not the kind of person that would get along with me or my habits. when i saw that info, i just thought of that kind of person and was extremely turned off to the idea.
also, i really want a hot stoner chick. not someone i'd have to hide my drug-use from. of course i'm getting really far ahead of myself here. i dunno, we'll see what happens.

i hate debating about religion. people are stubbornly fanatical about their religion and unwilling to listen to reason, moreso than with other topics.

It's only fun when you have two people with open minds and one takes the undesirable side of suggesting there is a god. I've had debates last all night long and well into the morning.
I hope you find your hot stoner chick. The good ones are even rarer.

Well obviously things that get my blood going. I can disagree with someone but still like them.
But I would like to point out I'm talking about a debate not an argument. I hate fighting.

Been there, done that with highly religious girls. So, there was this one girl.... I eventually got sick of the bullshit after she spent a week at church camp and tried harder to push her views on me. I concluded the three-month torment by getting piss drunk and passing out during a blowjob from her. The next morning was awkward as hell for her, but I couldn't stop laughing. Haven't spoken to the bitch since. I am a dick, sir. Not you.
Moral of the rant, don't get involved with the cheerleaders for Jesus.

in my opinion, you'll never want someone you'll have to hide ANYTHING from.
you gotta get someone who respects you for who you are, not your habits/job/lifestyle/hobbies.

tiny_rabid_birds said: so i had a crush on this girl in my film analysis class. she's cute; i like the way she dresses, her taste in movies, and her bangs. i had made up my mind to talk to her later this week and ask her to study or something.
but then, i facebook stalked her. under her political views, it said conservative... err.. not sure how i feel about that. scroll down, read some more. under her work info, it says presbyterian church. oh. i see. she works at a church...
now i don't really have the urge to ask her to study. does that make me a dick?
don't judge a book by it's cover, which oddly enough, seems to be a motto of the left/dems/libs. you are going against your initial gut instinct and beating it down with religious prejudice.

I know an ultra conservative overly religious stoner girl that sits around smoking ridiculous amounts of weed and watching fox news, everyone calls her hippy girl too, I can't seem to make any sense of her.

because somehow weed makes you non-religious? not all people who smoke weed are hippy atheists.

looks arent enough to pursue a girl with interests you dont particularly like. I wouldnt pursue it romantically. If things happen naturally, then whatever, but you know what i mean.
Or You could just straight up ask her to get naked and help you find jesus.

I never said that nor made that assumption, I just found it unusual, that's all. If you knew this girl you'd know exactly what I'm trying to get at. I've known plenty of christian stoners, and somewhat conservative one's in my day and they're pretty cool for the most part, just not many ultra conservative Bill O'reilly fans (she does have his book and is nuts about the guy) that I can honestly say I've come across. She's not really a bad person, just different that's all.
