trich on 80% colonized jars

This is my first grow. I inoculated 40 jars 2 weeks ago since then jars have been doing good, however I checked them today to find that 15 jars colonized 80% had small dots of trich on them. Is this normal for trich to hit them this late? Thanks for the help!!

The trich could have been there for a while. It is at first white then maturing to a green color.
What kind of air filter are you using?

Your trich is most likely being introduced during inoculation.
Otherwise did you boil or use a pressure cooker for sterilization?

I boiled the jars for 1 1/2 hours. Only half of my jars are contaminated (so far) the others are fine. I opened one of the contam jars and found that my dry verm filter is wet! I dont know why, could it be high humidity in my home?

You need to make sure the jars are totally out of the water when you steam them. Otherwise, the water splashes up over the tops of the jars as it boils, getting your verm barrier damp.
If the trich is showing just below the verm barrier or on it, then that's the cause. If it's showing up at the points of inoculation, then you introduced it at that time either through poor sterile technique or contaminated syringe. RR
