DON'T EAT!

Do you really need a guide as to how to do that?

you forgot to mention

drink water

and

rest.

also reintroducing food requires a method,

unless you don't mind a grumpy stomach.

Eat.

Don't eat.

Don't eat.

Don't eat.

Don't eat.

Don't eat.

Eat.

Let's see how complicated we can make this.

3 day apple fasts are great. you can eat all the apples you want and still benefit from a thorough detox.

How about the three-day all-you-can-eat buffet fast?

How did apples become a non-food item?

It's intended as a simple effective cleansing fast with minimal interruption to your normal daily lifestyle. It cleanses your alimentary canal, kidneys and liver, as well as your entire system. Look at it as fasting for beginners. :sun:

I look at it for what it is: a mono-diet and NOT a fast.

well geez, then call it the 3 day apple mono-diet if you like. it's still the same difference.

Oh, it's not as simple as you would think. For example, I read in the New Age section of Borders the other day that you're supposed to use Green Tea Enemas when you fast. :ass:

Also, why do all these New Age books use the word 'cleanse' instead of 'clean'. Do your intestines know the differences between a cleansing and a good old-fashioned cleaning?

Okay Diploid you just changed my mind about fasting!  If it requires an enema it ain't happening!  :shake:

I bet if you did the fast with the lemon juice/ cayenne pepper you wouldn't need one.

I have never needed an enema while fasting. I trust the body to do its own housecleaning without anything extra.

actually there is one of those fasts that i've been kind of interested in.

they say you're supposed to drink gallons of salt water... its supposed to be an ancient indian purification thing.

i haven't really read up on it, but is that healthy? isn't too much salt supposed to be terrible for you?

anybody know if colon cleanses actually do anything/are useful?
i'm kind of worried at the idea i may have a bunch of crap permanently sitting in my stomach.

Nothing permanently sits in your stomach. That's a myth, and one New Age author$ love capitalize on.

The 5 day beer and pizza fast is a great option. I have also tried the Dorito fast which is very good.
