My PC is crap

I got a new PC when I moved.
Its a Bravetti PC107B I can't find any Info relating to PSI. I called the company. They have no Idea what pressure it cooks at.
It plugs into the wall and heats itself.
I tried the water drop test and it evaporates quickly but doesn't boil off 'violently' which would suggest 15psi.
I was goign to use a Fractional Sterilize technique. 1+1/2hr today 1hour tommorow. I hope it works.
Anyone else seen this model of cooker?
 Thanks

i believe those rocker type cooker get around 9-12 psi. I remember reading this years ago but this is not for sure.
tape a thermometer to the lid and read it. It will probably be hotter than the thermometer says. Then again this could be a stupid idea

I have a presto pressure cooker. 15 psi, once the weight is rocking. It's a three weight system. One weight is 5, two is 10, and all three is 15.

The weight is built into the cooker. It doesn't rock at all.
but you can hear the steam wiggle it.

I've actually heard that bravetti is crap, even compared to a presto from wal mart. Anyway you could return it? Good luck.

If the company you called doesn't even know the operating pressure of something they manufacture, that's a sign you need to ditch them and their equipment ASAP.

Has it got anything in the manual or on the unit itself with any of the units shown on the above.

That digital pc can be programmed to bring the psi up to 20
It's actually a very expensive presure cooker that I was going to purchase way back when until I seen a 22qt mirro that has a weight capable of 5,10,15psi plus a weight attachment can be purchased for it to reach as high of 20psi.
Just read the manual

I have read the manual.
The Manual and packaging have no PSI or related measurements what-so-ever.
I don't see any way to adjust or even read the psi.

Read some customer reviews on HSN's site.... a few are very dissatisfied with the cooking and even the vendor acknowledges a defect. Just give it to someone else and get yourself a new one

If it does work at 15psi it sure does look like a neat PC. It'd be nice to not have to hog the stove every time you wanna get some jars going.
