Cambodians...

I have 5 qt sized cambo jars, colonizing popcorn. Injected them 4 days ago, the jars are 75% colonized.
I also have 5 qt GT jars. These have only recently shown signs of myc. growth, and lost one to contams. (silicone gel seal was slightly askew. didn't notice it before, and of course I notice it now.)
Is this normal for cambos? I've never had anything take off so fast. At this rate, I'll be able to case in a few days. And if this is normal, I don't think I'm ever gonna grow anything else

Ah. Digital Camera encountered a mishap. I'll try to get pics posted as soon as possible. But it IS myc (of some kind, anyway.) I doubt comtams as the work environment was a glove box, completely sterile. I also used an LC, but 4 days to 75% colonization? I used 1 cc of LC. I never would have thought.

i recently inoculated 1qt jars of wbs with cambos lc and have noticed they seem fast. in my case it's been a little over 3 days and i'd say i'm close to 25%
do you think perhaps you are over-estimating your colonization?

so far it sounds like cobweb, is the color a grey or white? if it's grey, toss them, if you cant really tell then wait, small black pinheads will form.

I have 75ml of LC ready to go (cambo) in just 48 hours after multi-spore knockup. Colonizes pint jars of WBS in under a week.

Perhaps I didn't state this properly.
I have silicone self-healing injector sites on the top of the jar. Always worked the best for me. I have two on opposite sides of the jar. The middle of the jar I have my polyfil filter.
Jars are at 83 degrees.
And, no, not cobweb. Myc is pure white. Metabolites have even started to form. I've had cobweb attack a casing, but never a jar. Man, I wish I could post pics...
But anyway, it seems that this is not the norm for Cambodians. Gotta make sure to clone this one...
