Does anyone know what book or theory says that you only exist because you think you exist, and that if you stop thinking you will cease to exist? They talk about it on in an episode of souhpark, I think it was the jewbaree episode.

sounds like existentialism
try Jean-Paul Sartre's Being and Nothingness. I always found reading existentialist type stuff really empowering
-------------------- "And we, inhabitants of the great coral of the Cosmos, believe the atom (which still we cannot see) to be full matter, whereas, it too, like everything else, is but an embroidery of voids in the Void, and we give the name of being, dense and even eternal, to that dance of inconsistencies, that infinite extension that is identified with absolute Nothingness and that spins from its own non-being the illusion of everything."

Of course you only exist because you think you do, because if you thought you honestly didn't exist, you wouldn't.

It's not Descartes. His "I think, therefore I am" doesn't imply that if one doesn't think they do not exist. He just used it to gain one piece of "certain" knowledge that would be so even if all existence was a lie, trick or dream.
Are you sure the South Park episode is actually talking about a real book?
