I know, it does sound pretty retarded I suppose.
Although if you think about it, it is true that just like the body, the human face is made up of many different muscles...muscles all have tone, that can potentially strengthen and weaken. So in order to maintain or even improve the tone of these facial muscles, is actually exercising them such a bizarre idea??
OK that above comment is basically a point that people who ADVOCATE facial exercising have made. I do however realize that muscles in the face do carry a different dynamic than the other muscles of the body; muscles on your arms and legs are attached to bone at BOTH ends of the muscle, as where muscles in the face are only attached to bone at one end. I believe this is accurate, but if not please feel free to correct me. Also, people who are against the idea of facial exercises have noted that it isn't only the muscle tone of the face that weakens over time, but the ligaments themselves, which of course can't really be re-conditioned.
I dont know...I've really never come across so much contradicting information on a subject before. Lots of people swear by it, among them of course are people who've authored their own 'facial exercise' books. And just as many folks are skeptical towards using facial exercises, primarily people in the cosmetic industries who would obviously rather have you buying their skin products

you see my point, these folks all have something in it for themselves when they approve or disapprove facial exercising.
WHO CAN YOU TRUST?
Really though, through plain old common sense or actual experience trying this stuff out, what do my fellow shroomerites think about the idea of exercising one's face?
any thoughts and opinions are welcome.
peace!

Well, I'm pretty sure you can avoid developing/get rid of double chins by toning the muscle in there, so sure, why not?
I guess you could also develop the ability to wiggle your ears if you strengthened those muscles.
Before I quit playing flute, I had some well developed cheek muscles that are gone now making it difficult to play for very long.
I don't know if there would be any aesthetic point in exercising your face though, I doubt it would make you look any better, or worse, for that matter.

Yes, but HGH is mostly placebo stuff. Good for the skin I hear. But it won't turn you into a diced gorilla.
