hotplates?
    #8015953 - 02/13/08 12:33 AM (16 years, 1 month ago)

Do any of you guys run your PC's on hotplates or electric stoves? How many watts per heating element? I don't want to get one that not powerful enough and wait around all day for water to boil. I have a 14 quart pressure cooker that can hold 7 quart jars. Looking to get that to 15psi in around 15-20 minutes.

some of the lab hotplates get to like far over boiling....

the lower end ones are 400-700 i've seen 900+

a hotplate for cooking on is 400f + water boils at 212f so im sure most of them would be sufficient.
