I wish I had a doctor like this in my family. He would be trustworthy to me and hook me up with shit to sell. Haha. Great read. LOL.
But it is sad going to a doctor(someone trustworthy, and you basically putting your life in his hands) fuck you over like that. Sucks that the guy died, but at least his siblings can set things straight. Money Compensation FTW.

We need to end this "adult babies" mentality shit that ticks me off. The addict made the choice to consume what he did, if he didn't get opiates from that doctor he could have copped in Overtown, The Triangle, Hialeah, Brownsville Opa-Locka Medley or the many IC's all over Miami-Dade.
Haha, I grew up near Opa-Locka in Carol City and spent time in Hialeah. I know exactly what you mean.
You forgot Liberty City and Little Haiti.

As far as the patient knows, they are taking a pill they think will make them better. Not everyone knows what oxycontin is. Not everyone has an intelligence level high enough. But we do. So fuck them and go us!

said his brother became addicted to painkillers after breaking his ankle in a 2005 car accident.
That guy knew what he wanted, opiates for his addiction, and that doctor is in trouble for writing scrips for addicts, the people that knew exactly what an oxycontin is, this doctor wasn't prescribing oxy's for people that would not know what they do.
You make it sound like this doctor was prescribing opiates to innocent citizens, then rubbing his hands together like an evil Mr Burns and saying haha, another innocent person continues the path of addiction, hehehehehehehe, I am pleased, I have harmed society, haha.....
Uh, ok, yeah, now that this doctor is arrested there will be no more opiates in Miami, I am sure of it......
Thats actually how I perceived it... Rofl thanks for opening my eyes...

yes i know it is messed up for what happen to the guy that OD, but i don’t blame the doctor for the death of JD. JD was the dumb ass for taking the medication and OD'ing. Dr. Shaygan is a good personal friend of mine. who i have know for over 2 and a half yrs. Ali is a good hearted guy. yes it was wrong for him to write a Rx outside of his scope, but he didn’t know the dumb ass will take and mix medications to OD. JD know what the Rx was for and if he didn’t, well that's is fault. when a Rx is filled form ANY pharmacy there a medication info sheet attached. Giving the side effects, description on the pill and also go as far as pronunciation of the pill. All I can say is ali is a wonderful, warm and good friend to have.

What the fuck, the guy was 29 years old, that is not a child. It's the goddamn user's fault he OD'd, not the doctor's.

yep
As long as the guy took more than prescribed, and didn't comply wiht the pharmacists instructions about mixing medications, I see no fault for the doctor.
He'd never be convicted civily for something like this (with someone taking more than the prescribed amount) and now he's got a criminal case relating to the death? Bullshit.
I'm sorry, the fact that he illegally prescribed (presuming this is true) means nothing to me, morally. This article is shitty on the actual law, and doesn't say how he is implicated in the death... could be by selling something that the guy died from he is de facto guilty, which is stupid, but could also be that he is charged w/ manslaughter or something.

i have a good friend that a criminal lawyer and also consulted with a close friend who's a FBI agent. more than likely some of the counts will be dropped and he may not serve 20 yrs to life. i spoke with Ali and he is very scared and feels horrible. also to mention JD knew what he was taken and have taken those meds before. a professional pill popper know what to mix and not to mix!
